Tradeshow Exhibit: "Lair of the Association Chairman"

Lair of the Association Chairman
Tradeshow Exhibit at ASAE 2011
For our exhibit at the American Society of Association Executives tradeshow, we gave show-goers a one-of-a-kind fun house experience themed to their profession, centered around a comically menacing character, The Chairman.

We started by scouring the country for a fun house we could rent and radically customize for this three-day event, finally finding Toon Town. After months of developing the concept and art, we wrapped every inch of the fun house in typography and custom-commissioned illustrations by Matthew Warlick, depicting our villain The Chairman and our protagonists, the fearless Association Executives.

Upon entering our fun house, show-goers wound through obstacles to enter a room with a large flat screen where they saw themselves confronted by The Chairman, played by improv comedian Richard Lett, who was composited into the scene from a green screen studio we set-up behind the funhouse.
Before and After. A year later, I still reek of vinyl.

Inside the fun house: two good sports face their digital tormenter
Meanwhile out back: comedian Richart Lett interacts via audio and video feed, allowing him to see, hear and ridicule those inside the fun house.
